The Baton Rouge African American Museum was founded in 2001 by the late Sadie Roberts-Jospeh. She founded the museum to expand knowledge of African-American history through engaging exhibits and community engagement. We will continue her legacy by partnering with local and state organizations to ensure her legacy lives on.
